The Center for Hope is a charming assisted living community in Elizabeth, New Jersey. It is within picturesque Union County which is part of the Garden State.

At the Center for Hope, our goal is simple: to help our residents enjoy their lives independently with joy and comfort embedded in each and every day. The Center's Elizabeth residence is one of two state-of-the-art, free standing facilities offering medically fragile individuals a truly home-like setting combined with a professional and attentive staff.

​Each resident has their own private room with an en-suite bath. Our kitchen staff cooks meals to order allowing each resident to customize their own menu. Expert staff, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Home Health Aides, are on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our residents can enjoy their privacy without ever having to be alone.

The residence has multiple common areas for both patients and families to enjoy, including: a large dining room, living room, common areas overlooking the backyard on both levels, a chapel, library, children's play room, salon and multiple outdoor patios and sitting areas. 

The Center’s unique combination of hospice and residential services allows for a seamless transition to increased support as your needs change. Our Nurse Case Managers will guide you and your family through all the care and service options available.

In addition to our Registered Nurses, our professionally trained and licensed staff of Social Workers, Practical Nurses and Certified Home Health Aides form a support system dedicated to sustaining you and your family with tangible services with an understanding of the difficult emotions involved. Our Spiritual and Bereavement Counselors who, along with our fully trained volunteers, provide an extra level of comfort, support and service.
