[Music] hi and welcome to inside Warren I'm Jack Reinhard recently the Hackettstown house of the good shepherd one under the stars at its 11th annual wine and dine festival as it recognized two of the top stars in the community this year's wine and dine featured music of all kinds ranging from colonial American to a Bobby Darin tribute as music soared through the air guests enjoyed tastings from a variety of local restaurants while supporting others we serve over 170 seniors and when people run out of money we continued to take care of them and this event helps fund the care of people who have lived perhaps longer than they ever anticipated which is a great thing one of two people who were honored with Lynda Gregg who has been involved in a variety of community activities and served as the house's director of dining services for ten years I was initially stunned but I am truly honored and I'm humbled by by the honor and I'm thrilled that I'm actually sharing this evening with a very good friend Tom from Mama's pizzeria because we have been close friends for ever so this is a really special evening not just for the two of us but I think for the House of the Good Shepherd in there in our great community we have here the Schiano family has owned and operated Mama's cafe and bocce for nearly five decades now Tom Schiano has a way of watching out for others finding ways to quietly contribute his time and resources and of course a seemingly endless supply of comfort food feels humbling it also feels somewhat selfish you know because this doesn't come just by one individual you know it's the whole family so feels great as long as I'm sharing it with the whole family my whole team feels great all proceeds from the event will go to benefit the houses Shepherd Fund in Hackettstown I'm Jack Reinhard for inside Warren [Music]
