Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center is a memory care community complete with 52 private and semi-private rooms providing comfortable, secure living in an environment designed for safety and independence. The center is conveniently located off the Northway (I-87) in Cohoes NY, with easy access to all areas of the Capital Region and Saratoga County.

Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center and Eddy Memory Care at Eddy Hawthorne Ridge are nationally recognized models for care intended to preserve self-esteem and self-confidence by highlighting individual talents and achievements. Research show individuals living with memory loss can continue to utilize their interests and talents. That’s why each of The Eddy’s Memory Care communities offer a supportive environment with a culture of care that enhances quality of life. Our approach to care and commitment begin with our staff, trained by a nationally certified dementia care trainer, providing our Residents with moments of pleasure, purpose and peace.

Activities are specially designed around each individual so they can continue lifelong traditions. This provides a greater sense of fulfillment, purpose and pride as Residents reconnect with family, friends, old interests and memories.  From art classes, music and outings, to exercise, small groups and entertainment, memory care at The Eddy is designed to meet each individual resident’s physical, spiritual, psycho-social and recreational needs.

Programs serve individuals with early to mid-stage memory impairment — those with difficulties that require watchfulness and a supportive environment, but who do not need nursing home care.

The center is thoughtfully designed and services are tailored for individuals with memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias.

Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center also offers Short-term Respite Care – Minimum stay of fourteen days, maximum stay of six weeks.
