today we're in our sculpture garden on the beautiful grounds of Peconic Landing and it's a sculpture garden that over the six years that we've since we've created it we made it accessible to people with vision loss during the last three years and today we're having we're hosting Suffolk Independent Living some folks from the Guide Dog Foundation and the North the National Federation of the blind it means that people they can see get to touch something that otherwise they would never be able to feel or touch when you go into a regular museum you're not allowed to feel anything you know they will sit there curator will describe things to you but when you get to feel like this metal art you have an idea of what it's all about the creditor under standing in front of that turns out actually to be a spider but it has this wonderful musculature so and this you know and this has a different feel from the one that we just looked at which is hard-knocks which is nails that have had a lot of tough life experience but there's their different texture it's that's a different feel to it different from the first one that we looked at which was smooth lines of metal that are can turn and yeah so each one is so different art is for everyone and I think that's the important message here and we're I'd like to expect as many people as they can in the in our local area or in the community or people who are on vacation just to come and visit us firsthand and see what we're talking about you
