Because nothing says home like cozy spaces and people who care. If you and your family are looking for a memory care community, Brookdale Niagara can help. Our Alzheimer's and dementia care community, also known as Clare Bridge, is rooted in a person-centered approach . That means we help our residents find a sense of belonging and purpose while also helping them preserve who they are.
This is where state-of-the-art care meets a passion for painting. Our residents stay engaged with a gentle daily structure of planned activities to help them maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. Brain games, dancing, cooking classes and music programs are just a few of the ways our residents enjoy their days. Along with our programming, you ll have peace of mind knowing that trained staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You and your family will also have a selection of floor plans to choose from so you and your family will find just the right pet-friendly apartment to fit your style.
The Clare Bridge Daily Path is an evidence-based approach that offers a gentle daily structure of six planned programs per day, our routine that helps our residents maintain their abilities, encourage the use of their current skills, and offer a sense of security and accomplishment. Working in small cluster groups, each resident is surrounded by others with the same cognitive abilities, to give them a feeling of fitting in. Activities include a morning cognitive workout with discussions, brain games and physical fitness and movement classes like our B-Fit program, walking programs, and dancing.
Surrounded by your favorite things and people who love you that s home. Our apartments have plenty of natural window light and some even have a garden view. And you and your family have several floor plans to choose from. We help our families make our residents apartments familiar and comfortable with a move-in guide and a suggested list of what to bring. Brookdale Niagara is a pet-friendly community because we know it s not really home without our four-legged family members with us.
Our Clare Bridge environments feature areas of the community that are set up for safe engagement in gardening, kitchen work, handyman help, and other household and normal daily tasks. Life skills activities provide a sense of purpose, meaning and belonging as residents complete tasks related to everyday life.
When it comes to activities, our residents have a lot of choices. Painting, book club, gardening, and gentle yoga are just a few of the activities included on the Daily Path. Our residents also enjoy devotional services in our chapel, spa night, Pictionary and fun social events, too. We even plan off-campus regular outings for scenic drives and lunch at local restaurants.
