The Wyngate at Lima Senior Living Community

Hello and Welcome to The Wyngate. Our Lima community is busy from sunrise to sunset—we’re always full of fun and activity! From the minute you walk through our front door you’ll feel right at home. The inviting smells of freshly baked homemade cinnamon rolls will be sure to lure you in and you’ll be warmly welcomed by our residents, friends, family and staff, including our community dog, Ginger.

While you’re visiting us, I encourage you to join in on some of the wonderful activities we have going on here. Our days are filled with games, music, crafts, shopping excursions, trips to the theater, and much more. And if you just feel like relaxing with some of our residents, you can watch your favorite classic movie while enjoying a bag of freshly popped popcorn.

Here at The Wyngate we offer several living options. For those who like the benefits of maintenance-free living and also want a sense of community, we offer independent living in The Cottages. And for those that would like a little more help, we have The Inn. Its private apartments provide a homelike environment along with as much or as little personal care as needed.

The Wyngate Senior Living Community offers both independent and assisted living in a variety of lifestyle and residential options. We’re a perfect blend of autonomy and community, offering affordable, professional care in a cheerful, homelike environment. While promoting independence, privacy and respect, it's comforting to know that The Wyngate is there to provide all the assistance residents may need while maintaining a relaxed and friendly setting. You can choose to do as little or as much as you wish. Our residents find it’s quite refreshing to connect with neighbors who have similar experiences such as The Great Depression, world wars, moonwalks and grandchildren.

The Cottages offer two bedroom floor plans, providing comfort, security and the freedom of maintenance-free living. They are designed for individuals who are self-sufficient or those who need light assistance. And when you’re in the mood to enjoy socializing, The Inn serves as a community center for meals and various social events. Residents can host card games and social activities in their own home or make use of the clubhouse’s lounges and multi-purpose rooms for large events. There’s always lots to do and plenty of good neighbors to share things with at The Cottages.

Our attractive, private apartments include baths and kitchenettes with a microwave and refrigerator. Residents appreciate personal space, while a full calendar of enjoyable programs and activities deliver countless opportunities for personal growth and new friendships. We provide all the assistance residents need, when they need it, and get out of their way when they don’t. Three delicious and nutritious meals are offered daily, plus snacks, weekly housekeeping and flat linen service. Nurses and resident assistants are on duty 24-hours a day to provide health care and personal assistance with such things as bathing, dressing and medication administration.
