The day of family operated health care facilities is nearly gone, but the Hutton family continues with the tradition that nothing can substitute for hands-on personal care. At The Courtyard, we feel that it is important to be there to listen and understand. Our dedication is proven by the 45 years we have been serving the Salem area's elderly. With our experience and compassion in personal care, we strive to make living in our facilities just like living at home.
Knowing your need for independence is an important factor, we offer a choice of living plans. In each of our studio or one bedroom apartments, as well as our two-bedroom private villas, you will find security and peace of mind without sacrificing your independence.
These services include laundry, housekeeping, medication monitoring, personal care, meals, and activities. All of these services are offered in our home-like environment, on a secluded wooded area, where deer visit on a daily basis.
Bingo is a staple event here at The Courtyard. We also offer various games that interest the residents at their request as well as entertainment from local entertainers and school groups.
We believe that animals can sooth the soul, and we welcome pet visits. We also have daily viewings of deer who come to visit which are viewable from our atrium window or on one of our spacious patios.
At The Courtyard, we have themed parties for many occasions, such as birthdays, St Patrick's Day, Veterans' Day, National Cookie Day, and our annual family Christmas Party, and many more.
