Ardmore Village is a non-profit senior living community. Our residents are from all walks of life. They benefit from an environment that promotes peace, enrichment, and caring. In addition to two options for independent living and a facility for assisted living, we have indoor and outdoor community areas. We care about each of our residents, which is evident in the high level of satisfaction they experience and express.
Different levels of care are often needed as we age. At Ardmore Village, we currently offer Independent Living and Assisted Living. The other four Senior Lifestyles, as they have been classified, include Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, Affordable Housing, and Short-Term Care. It’s important that a resident is placed in the appropriate housing for his or her needs.
The Lodge, like other assisted-living facilities, provides care for individuals who need such personal assistance as medication management, help with mobility, household services, meal preparation, getting dressed, and more. Residents don’t need round-the-clock care, which patients receive, for instance, in nursing homes for seniors.
Residents enjoy independence while receiving the daily care they need at The Lodge. Shopping assistance is included, and shopping trips are scheduled regularly.
Assisted-living facilities come in all varieties of shapes and sizes. Ardmore Village offers a cozy setting in an intimate community of fellow seniors. The 54 spacious suites at The Lodge are homelike and cozy. They each include a kitchen area equipped with a refrigerator and microwave oven. The roomy bathrooms have a step-in shower, well-lit vanity, and a corner walk-in closet. Residents enjoy natural light from the large windows.
The opportunity to enjoy nature on the acreage at Ardmore Village contributes to the high quality of life enjoyed by the residents on the property. There are restorative benefits to time spent in nature. Research abundantly shows that people of all ages have less stress, better moods, improved cognitive function, and less chances of depression as a result of spending time in nature.
The monthly cost at The Lodge covers all utilities, including cable TV. Certified staff provides round-the-clock assistance, as needed. Many activities are scheduled regularly, including opportunities for exercise. Pets are welcome!
Residents at The Lodge are in need of daily support due to various limitations, such as serious health problems and altered vision or mobility. Signs that assisted living is best for a senior include difficulty keeping up with housekeeping and laundry. At The Lodge, three meals are served daily and 24-hour assistance for personal care is provided.
Fun activities provide enriching experiences at The Lodge. More practical needs are met, as well, such as local transportation services for medical care.
The elderly are empty nesters and in a phase of life that is considerably less active than younger years, especially for those who have raised children. Many seniors transition to assisted living straight from their former home, whether a house or an apartment. Becoming part of a community, such as ours at The Lodge, provides a renewed opportunity to avoid isolation. Human beings need more than food, water, adequate shelter, and needed medications. Human interaction and touch are just as important as the air we breathe.
The Lodge at Ardmore Village is a non-profit Institution of the Oklahoma Episcopal Diocese. All faiths and denominations are valued and welcome.
