One of Blair County’s most experienced providers in assisting older adults, Saint Leonard’s Home has served the community since 1947. In our gracious Victorian home, we offer a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Our limited capacity (28) purposefully allows us to provide a home rather than institutional approach to our services. Rates are based on room amenities and services provided and are adjusted annually.
St. Leonard’s staff provides a furnished room and personal assistance with the activities of daily living as needed, including, but not limited to: medication administration; housekeeping; laundry; managing and securing healthcare in collaboration with family/POA; and personal hygiene assistance as needed. Meals are prepared in house and served in the dining room, as is an evening snack.
Staff also assists residents as needed in: making and keeping doctor appointments; scheduling personal transportation; providing leisure and social activities; obtaining clean, seasonal clothing; applying for entitlement programs such as the SSI Boarding Home Supplement and VA Aid & Attendance; and planning shopping excursions.
St. Leonard’s Home offers a family- like environment in which seniors are encouraged to maximize their quality of life, maintain relationships with family, friends and the community, and participate as fully as possible in the spiritual, social and wellness activities available in the facility and the local area.

Living at St. Leonard’s Home. What to Expect.
- A bed, chair, night stand, lamp and dresser are provided as needed. Residents may bring their own bedroom furniture and personal items as space allows.
- Beautiful common areas and spectacular views of the rolling hills surrounding Hollidaysburg.
- Cable access in each bedroom for a monthly fee.
- Phone in each bedroom with free local and long distance calling.
- Residents access Blair Senior Services van for transportation that the family does not provide.
- Visiting hours are 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM daily.
