my name is Mary Rose d DiMaggio my name is Richard my mother's Mary Rose DD mizu and she's an old tears resident it's very nice being an independent living because I can come and go as I please there's never any restrictions they don't just shuffle you off into some little corner and somewhere and you think that you're in some home you know it's never even called that she walked into elm terrace the doors open the happy faces are on you know that this is a very welcome please I stay very active in many many many activities around here we played shuffleboard and even poker and I enjoy all these and we have a very active group I got to know a lot of lansdale people and I just loved them i have not had any bad experiences you have to have the people that make a place what it is it's the people that make Altair's what it is I was very lonely before I moved in my husband had died I was in a very large house I was down solo el terrace garden has been a lifesaver she just needed to get back to life get back to herself get back to the bouncy person that we all love that has happened here that has definitely transformed her coming here and being her and I see it every week when I come here I didn't have to go up the road or another city or somewhere I was close by if I needed my children they were there but I wanted to have my own place and I feel that I do here I have my own place

my name is Henry Hartman I've been a resident here at El Faris gardens for just shy of two years my name is Carol Hartman and I'm a resident here at down terrace gardens when we started to look at Nerdist for retirement communities I'll terraced gardens was on our list it was a relief to come here and you know it looks beautiful and I found everybody very very friendly and welcoming it's nice to be in a place where I have people I can eat dinner with and talk to you certainly did a sense of community here at out there is currently you mingle with a lot more people more readily the Independent Living aspects here are great we go on vacations we have a timeshare down in Virginia and we go down there I have volunteer jobs here so I'm feeling useful my god I didn't when I was in my early 70s rather than waiting teller was in my eighties I tell you that he goes and he plays ping-pong with friends of his I do work up a sweat this it's rather intense it's not the not just a little back and forth other than relief i would have to say I'm happy to be here you
