At Forest View Manor, our purpose is to provide a safe and secure home for senior citizens in a Christian atmosphere. We offer private bedrooms and suites, home-cooked meals, medication assistance, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, personal assistance, and a wide range of daily activities. Our staff is committed to providing compassionate care while insuring dignity and independence.

For your enjoyment and relaxation, our facilities include two large living rooms, a sunny dining room, two sunlit skylight rooms, a large front and back porch, garden areas, a gazebo, a pond full of fish and an on-site Beauty Salon.

We are especially blessed by the compassionate nature and the commitment to superior care demonstrated daily by our staff. Caregivers are chosen based on their ability to build relationships with our residents, providing not only for their physical needs but their emotional and spiritual needs as well. Forest View Manor provides ongoing training and education opportunities to continually improve the quality of services and environment. Most of our staff members have been providing care here for more than ten years. Our staff is definitely one of our greatest assets.

Located in rural Edgefield County, the facility benefits daily from the hospitality of the surrounding community. Many area churches from both Edgefield and McCormick and local civic groups, as well as individuals, provide regular services, programs, and entertainment for our residents. Their efforts help to keep our residents ‘plugged in’ and involved in their community. Our residents look forward with great anticipation to having groups come  and present music, religious services, or sometimes just come to spend some time with us. We enjoy sharing in the experiences of our community, and we feel very fortunate to be a part of it.

We have a licensed beautician on staff that comes once a week to take care of all of your hair needs. From washing, perming, or coloring, she does it all. Every three months the podiatrist comes to our door and takes care of that need in house. We also provide manicures to whoever thinks their nails need a little sparkle for the day.

Forest View Manor allows for respite stays for someone who only needs a few days, weeks, or months. Daily rates allow for you or a loved one to stay for whatever period of time you would like with access to all of our amenities included. We often have live-in family members stay while their family member caregivers go on vacation. We also allow this option for the extra care someone may need to recover from a recent illness or surgery. Allow us to care for you!
