Aurora-Brule Care & Rehab, partnered with Caring Professionals inc., sets out to provide you and your family with quality care in many areas. We are Medicare and Medicaid certified, and have a maximum bed capacity of 77.

Offering long term skilled care, assisted living, in-patient therapy and out-patient therapy we are fully prepared to accommodate your needs.

The team at Aurora-Brule Care & Rehab works tirelessly to create a lifestyle of comfort and enjoyment for our residents. After all, this is where we spend our days and nights. We focus our efforts on our residents’ individual needs and wants. So we are truly committed to our residents.

You’ll find a variety of healthcare staff members here—including licensed nurses (RNs and LPNs). Other important community staff members include our activities director, health services director, business office manager, housekeeping services staff and dining services staff led by our dining services director.

The community has also established relationships with third-party providers including doctors and occupational, speech and physical therapists. Community staff members are well-connected in the South Dakota medical community and can facilitate connections for you.

Our Long-Term Care Unit offers skilled nursing, behavioral, social, and nutritional care, along with housekeeping, recreational, and rehabilitative services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Residents may move in and out of our skilled care unit depending on their situation and needs.

For those persons desiring just a little additional support in daily life we are your answer. Whether you need assistance with meal, laundry and medications assistance, the Aurora-Brule assisted living center is here to help. We excel at meeting the personal needs of the residents in a family like atmosphere.

Accidents and injuries occur throughout one’s life. For that reason, we offer both Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation Services to assist in a successful and timely recover. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy are available on site for all person who have a need.

For those individuals who care for a loved one in their home, we offer Respite series. The purpose of this services is to allow the caregiver the ability to place their loved one in a safe secure environment for a short period of time while they are absent from the home.

When the time comes, we have the ability to provide for Hospice Services to residents and their families. We Provide a caring, respectful environment in which this process may occur in a natural peaceful manner.

It is our belief that the social, emotional, and recreational needs of our community are just as important as the medical needs. To that end, we have opened our facility to various groups within the region. From playing cars, to an Easter egg hunt, we wish to be involved. It is extremely important for the individual here to be involved in the community.
