Golden Prairie Manor is an excellent assisted living community in Winner, South Dakota. It is within popular Tripp County which is part of the Mount Rushmore State.
Golden Prairie Manor is an assisted and independent living facility consisting of 38 beautiful apartments ranging from an efficiency-style to full one and two-bedroom apartments with a full kitchen and patio. The common areas include a spacious lobby, chapel, 2 dining rooms, a comfortable solarium area an exercise room and a beauty shop.
Golden Prairie Manor opened in March of 1996 as an independent living facility. In April of 1998, one wing was converted to assisted living and a 10-car garage was added. In August 2001, an additional wing consisting of 10 efficiency apartments was built on to the manor along with another dining room and a large solarium.
Golden Prairie Manor is licensed by the state of South Dakota, Department of Health. We offer services of medication administration, acceptance of cognitively and physically impaired residents, residents dependent on supplemental oxygen, and residents requiring therapeutic diets. The facility is also a member of the Assisted Living Association of South Dakota.
