Canterbury Place is a lovely assisted living facility surrounded by rolling grounds in Dyersburg, Tennessee. It is owned by Wesley-Asbury, Inc, a non-profit collaborative of local Dyersburg churches serving senior needs.
Each of the resident rooms is equipped with a private bath, large window with custom treatment, spacious closet and individual climate controls. There are emergency call lights in every bath and at each bedside for the resident’s safety. Cable is provided to each room. Telephone jacks are available in every room, but are optional to each resident.
We provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and medication monitoring. Residents are served three freshly prepared meals each day which are planned by a dietician, and snacks are available at all times. There is complete housekeeping and laundry service for the convenience of our residents.
We also offer and encourage resident participation in the many enjoyable activities scheduled daily. These activities may range from crafts and puzzles to lunch trips to local restaurants of interest. Wesley’s focus is on the resident…with emphasis on physical, social and spiritual wellness. The Pastoral Care ministry includes worship, Bible study and support to both residents and their families. Canterbury Place is designed to make its residents feel at home and help them maintain the best possible level of health and personal welfare.
