Colonial Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care has been honored to care for the residents of Hunt County since 1990! As a private, family owned and operated business, Colonial Lodge was created to provide seniors the independence they desire with the supportive services they need. Our community boasts seventy-three private assisted living suites with various floor plans as well as thirty-two capacity secured Memory Care units with private and friendship suites. Our TenderCare facility is the only state licensed Alzheimer Facility in Hunt County.

Life at Colonial Lodge is all about choice and freedom. We encourage independence but have staff available to offer assistance as needed with daily tasks. Plus you’ll find care and wellness services available, such as assistance with medication management, dressing, bathing, grooming and more.

Residents will benefits from a full calendar of enriching and inspiring activities. Beyond just games and puzzles, we offer an individualized approach designed to stimulate all dimensions in wellness.

Placing your spouse, parent or loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia under someone else’s care is a difficult decision. Realizing this, we have developed the TenderCare program based on what families want in a community. Stimulating activity programs are provided by our licensed staff and families are always encouraged to continue their involvement in their loved one’s care.

TenderCare is a residential care unit designed to enable residents to enjoy a warm, home-like setting in a safe and secure environment. The staff are specifically trained to care for the special needs of Memory Care and dementia residents. We provide palliative care by teaming with hospice to provide our residents end of life care through our aging in place philosophy.

At Colonial Lodge we understand caring for loved ones is demanding; therefore we offer resources for short term, daily or respite stays.

Colonial Lodge TenderCare offer the option for a stay overnight, a few days or weekly. Overnight care allows caregivers to take an extended break or vacation while your loved one stays in a safe environment.
