Seven Acres, offering one of the largest long-term care facilities in Houston, cares for those who require monitoring and support as well as those who need significant long-term clinical intervention. Seven Acres’ comprehensive professional support enhances better-coordinated care and allows our residents to see specialists in the comfort of their Seven Acres home environment. We provide full-time medical services with on-site physicians through a contract with Trumen Physicians & Associates PLLC. A trained geriatric physician is available on site five days a week and on call 24 hours/7 days a week. Onsite services for Dentistry, Dermatology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology and Psychiatry and Psychological Services ensure your loved one has access to a full suite of healthcare services.

Seven Acres, through its Lou Lewis Short-term Skilled Nursing Program, offers post-acute services for those transitioning from hospitals to home. This outcome-focused specialized care in a skilled nursing facility Houston families trust, helps shorten the hospital stay and lays the groundwork for a successful discharge home or to a lower level of care. Each resident’s care − customized for their specific needs and preferences − is delivered around-the-clock by trained professionals.

Through a contract with RehabCare, residents in our rehab center in Houston are able to live as independently as possible. A highly trained staff of licensed therapists and aides work together to provide a broad complement of services including Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy services for our long-term care residents on a case-by-case basis as well as for our short-term skilled nursing residents.
