We are a 43 unit, and 47 bed (for couples) facility licensed by the Utah Department of Health as a licensed Health Care Facility.
Our Rooms all have a private bathroom with walk in shower, walk in closet, and convenience counter with mini fridge. 17 of our 43 units have a sliding glass door that grants access to our beautiful open courtyard in the front of our building. All of our units are large studios.
There has been a tremendous outpouring of community involvement since we opened in May of 2009; civic groups, schools, volunteers, church groups and performers who volunteer their talents and energy at Family Tree to bring joy, love, and entertainment to our residents.
The scenic view from our Dining room is breath taking; you can see the entire gorgeous Morgan Valley.
It is a very rare instance to have a facility our size that is blessed to be nestled right in a residential neighborhood and not on a busy street in a commercial district.
Our residents enjoy watching families take walks, kids catch the school bus, they are neighbors in an active family neighborhood rather than isolated next to a commercial complex.
We are grateful to Morgan City for their vision in creating an “Age in Place“ neighborhood with starter homes, duplexes, large custom lots, patio homes, and Assisted Living all here on Mahogany Ridge Road. It is truly revolutionary to have this special planning and vision here in Utah (since we are the youngest state in the Country).
Assisted Living Facility Type II
- Resident lives in a licensed facility, permits aging in place.
- Resident may receive full assistance with ADL's.
- Resident may be semi-independent and may require the assist of one person for transfers or to evacuate the facility.
- Resident may receive assistance with medication or have medications administered by a nurse.
- Resident receive general nursing care from facility staff.
- Resident must be free of communicable diseases that could be transmitted to others through the normal course of activities.
- Resident receives 24 hour individualized personal and health-related services, 7 days a week.
- Resident may receive home health services through individual contract with a home health agency.
- Resident participates in developing a service plan.
We offer many activities here at Family Tree. Once a week we go shopping and often use our Family Tree Van with ADA lift for short road trips and outings. We have weekly exercise groups, daily games, monthly socials, and many entertainers. We encourage our residents as well as their families to participate in our activities.
We believe that companionship and laughter are the best medicine. Our experienced and energetic staff hosts life enriching activities daily these include: outings, craft projects, Bingo, socials, birthday parties, and professional entertainment. In addition, local church groups provide weekly Sunday services on site.
