Our friendly, experienced staff can provide you with as much as or as little assistance as you need with both routine activities and special needs. We are available 24 hours a day if you need us.

Our monthly events calendar has something for everyone from the creative to the cognitive, sensory to spiritual, and some just good fun. The state may have minimum requirements, but our full-time nationally certified activities director is all about living The Summit's high standards and going above and beyond. (She's also a licensed Zumba instructor and teaches modified Zumba for residents.)

- Special events like birthday bashes, pet therapy visits, pumpkin contests, and themed lunches such as a 50s Diner, Luau, and Country Hoedown
- Cooking events, ceramics, painting, scrapbooking, and gardening

- Weekly outtings to places like The Peaks of Otter, D-Day Memorial, Lynchburg Museum, and Safari Park
Residents have their favorite events like Bingo, but we make sure to keep adding more variety and more fun. The family culture means staff and residents know and care for each other, and want this environment to be the best it can be.
