Hermitage in Roanoke stories 1
when mom and dad decided to move to the Hermitage it was the biggest gift that my brother and I had we knew what their future would be and we would not have that burden after coming back to roanoke and my mother being here she was just part of the place and I got to know everyone else who was part of the community and this became my family we are hoping in the near future such as in a couple of years that we will be able to move here I'm looking forward to having the possibility of settling down one more time and then not having to move anymore it's small enough that everybody knows everybody and everybody cares about everyone we happen to do our looking in springtime when all the flowers were in bloom and so we that was a played a big part in our decision when my parents moved here my mother had health issues so that was important to me and it was important to my sister that they be together the main building is beautiful looks like an old southern home place the staff is kind and very helpful to the children and to the family you
