Our memory care program is based on a fulfilling range of individual and structured group activities. Activities are tailored for each resident’s skills and limitations. We help people rediscover ways to enjoy everyday activities, making the most out of their life as their abilities decline. Our philosophy here is to build on a person’s strengths and encourage personal independence. This philosophy is something we believe deeply in and will never waver from.

Services in the monthly base rent for Memory Care residents include:

• Life engagement programs
• 3 meals each day, snacks throughout the day (modified diets are accommodated)
• Weekly housekeeping and linen services
• Daily assistance with bed making
• Paid Wi-Fi and all utilities (except telephone and cable TV services)
• Planned activities and exercise programs
• Sing Fit subscription provided by Highland Court
• 24-hour staff for supervision and assistance
• Regular monitoring for general health and well-being
• The latest technology in Electronic Charting
• Medication oversight
• Secure/Locked building
• Apartment maintenance
• RN support and oversight

We are happy to provide transportation to and from various doctor/specialist visits for your loved ones. These appointments do need to be pre-arranged, offering our limited care staff advance notice. Our Highland Court community van offers a safe and comfortable ride for our residents and they are always accompanied by a medical professional.

Highland Court offers many different social and leisure activities to help residents continue to be active, social, and involved in their community. We strive to have activities that meet the social, physical, spiritual, nutritional, and intellectual needs of each resident and enrich the whole person. Whether your loved one enjoys bingo, cards, outings, entertainment, exercise, Bible study or even special group cooking activities, we have the variety to keep them engaged and happy. We welcome family and friends to join us at Highland Court in any of our activities or events.

As soon as a new resident moves into Highland Court, our Activities Director meets with them one on one to find out what they enjoy and gets to know their history to assist in matching activities to their liking and providing  encouragement for group participation in upcoming events that they would hopefully enjoy.
