RidgeStone Village, located in Delavan, Wisconsin, has two options for living; a Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC) and a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF).
The RCAC offers each resident services unique to their needs in individual apartments. As each person's need for care increases, services can increase accordingly. This gives residents an opportunity to remain in the apartment setting for a greater length of time.
RidgeStone Village offers private residences with the features of a traditional apartment. All RCAC units have a kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator. Select apartments in Delavan offer kitchenette stoves. Each apartment has private showers and bathrooms and are furnished by the individual.
The philosophy of a CBRF is to provide a home-like environment and to keep each resident as dignified and independent as possible, while maintaining a feeling of safety and security. With private bathrooms, suites come furnished by RidgeStone or unfurnished for residents to choose their own belongings. Assistance is provided based on the assessment completed at RidgeStone to determine individual unique care levels in an environment that promotes and enhances independence.
With a wide variety of social activities, those who live with us find companionship and interaction. Activities are planned by RidgeStone's staff and are based on interests of the resident population, taking into account the physical and cognitive abilities of the participants.
