From happy hour to the on site American Star Theatre, seniors continue active pursuits at American Grand. We have an internet café on site as well as real slot machines. We proudly start each day with our exclusive “Good Morning American Grand” activity where we discuss current events and conduct exercise classes. We also feature coffee service and art classes. Residents can enjoy taking trips to visit area shops, concerts, attractions and more. All activities are voluntary but usually well attended!
The Grand Spa & Salon offers the services of a stylist, massage therapist, manicures/pedicures, whirlpool tub with soothing music and aroma therapy. Besides making residents feel good about their personal appearance, those with cognitive challenges find the services relaxing.

Long term care for your loved one means just that. Our memory care specialists are trained to care for your family member through all stages of aging–including the difficult times. You don’t have to worry about your loved one’s behavior and you are assured we are meeting their needs in a secure setting. We want your parent or relative to spend their final years in kindness, dignity, safety and understanding with experienced care givers.
Finding special care for an older adult is a difficult process. Our staff is focused on preserving each resident’s independence and dignity in a warm, home-like setting. Care needs are assessed every six months reviewing medical care, social and emotional issues -as care increases the staff-to-resident ratio increases.

At American Grand, the little things like family china, a comfortable rocking chair and treasured keepsakes add up. We encourage residents to bring their cherished items with them to American Grand. Our home-like setting features private and friendship suites with kitchen areas that include a microwave and refrigerator. Suites are 420 square feet and feature vaulted ceilings with skylite dormers, wide walk-ways and pocket doors so residents can easily access bathroom facilities. Personal care such as bathing, dressing, administering medication, diabetic monitoring may all be attended to in the privacy of their suite.
