The Activity Department provides a full range of activities, including weekends and evenings, plus individual programming to assist the resident through a total wellness approach. Opportunities are many to participate in a host of events, entertainment and organized activities and just plain spur-of-the-moment fun. The range of opportunities include movie night, live music, knitting, quilting, reading and discussion groups, euchre, bridge and bingo. The activity calendar is provided to every resident and is also on the nursing home channel. Many of the activities and church services are broadcasted on this channel for residents who choose to watch from the comfort of their rooms or the solarium. The monthly calendar is filled with interesting and exciting activities that can involve off-campus jaunts to local apple orchards and restaurants, road trips to see the beautiful fall colors or the holiday lights, and visiting the local County Fair.
