Is home care cheaper than nursing home?

The cost of senior care in a nursing home or in-home care varies depending on the number of factors such as location, type of care, and the level of that care. Generally, home care is less expensive except in special circumstances where there is a need for 24-hour care or for specialized advanced treatments for prolonged periods.
