Methodist Village Senior Living (MVSL) is proud to have served as Fort Smith’s only faith-based, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing quality of life for our active adult and elder population for nearly 60 years. MVSL’s 30-acre campus has been redeveloped into the only complete continuum of care “Life Plan Community” in the River Valley. MVSL now offers comprehensive total patient care through independent, assisted, long term, memory care and in/out-patient rehabilitation. In addition, our state-of-the-art Multi Treatment Center gives on-site provider care from a General Practitioner, Dentist, Optometrist, and Podiatrist. These combined offerings allow for a community that enables seniors to live on one campus throughout their life, depending on how their needs change.

Our Independent Living offers an active independent lifestyle with the security of a supportive environment. Our Care Center provides 24-hour nursing care in a home-like environment for long-term residents who can no longer live independently. Our Rehabilitation Center provides a comprehensive rehab program, including physical, occupational and speech therapies, to assist your loved ones recovering from surgery, an illness, or in the treatment of complex medical conditions. The Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s Special Care Community is licensed for 45 apartments including 19 secure protected apartments designed with consideration for special needs of elders with memory loss.

While our original non-financial covenant relationship with the United Methodist Church remains intact, we are inter-denominational and welcome people of all backgrounds and faiths as residents, staff and volunteers.
