Rocking Chair Inn is a peaceful assisted living community in Springdale, Arkansas. It is within fantastic Benton County which is part of the Natural State.

Rocking Chair Inn is a family-owned residential care home located in scenic Northwest Arkansas. We are licensed by the Arkansas Office of Long Term Care and have maintained an outstanding record of reliability and dependability since our establishment in 1986.

Rocking Chair Inn is a residential property situated on seven beautiful acres. Our smaller size (12-15 residents) provides a welcoming, family-like atmosphere that separates us from large assisted living and nursing home facilities. Our owner/administrator lives on the premises, which enables open and direct communication with our residents and their families.

Services Offered:

• We offer both private and semi-private rooms, available with private bath
• Enjoy three home-cooked meals daily, plus snacks and special diets if needed
• All housekeeping and laundry services
• Our caring staff provides assistance with daily activities and personal care
• Supervision of medication
• Intercom, telephone and cable hookups in rooms
• Walk-in closets available in most rooms
• Furnished rooms upon request

Residential Care is a licensure from the Arkansas Office of Long Term Care, and is designated for individuals that do not need assisted living or nursing home care, but cannot live alone.

We offer all levels of personal care, including bathing, dressing, housekeeping, cooking. We also manage our residents' medications and work with their doctors to insure their needs are met.  The following may indicate that you or your loved one would be a good candidate for residential care:

• Ambulatory with or without the assistance of walkers, canes or wheelchairs
• Able to feed self with some assistance with putting food on plate and cutting it up
• May need assistance with bathing or other activities of daily living
• Not in need of skilled nursing care, but is unable to live alone
• Able to take meals in community dining room, even if some assistance is needed
• Continent or able to manage incontinency through the use of incontinence products
• Needs supervision of approved medications
