Assisted Living is a balance between living independently on your own and getting support from trained professionals when you need it. It is important to understand the limitations of the person needing Assisted Living and their specific needs; if you are the advocate for a loved one, it is important that you take the time to get all of your questions answered, so you can have peace of mind when you make a decision.
Our Assisted Living services are individually tailored to each resident’s well-being by our Quail Park professionals after an initial assessment and consultation with the resident, family, and primary care provider. Our well-trained care teams, supervised by licensed nurses, strive every day to engage each resident in living well, to the best of each resident’s abilities, while being sensitive to their personal choices, independence, and dignity.
To that end, knowing how important socialization is to our Assisted Living residents, we have daily activities run by our Life Engagement Director to engage residents with their neighbors in these important social experiences. These activities encourage socializing and fellowship with their neighbor in the community. Some of the activities we offer in the morning are coffee and conversation, exercise classes, and group walks around the lake. In the afternoon there are art classes, card/board games, live music and bingo. After dinner, there is popcorn and a movie. Everyone is sure to find something they enjoy doing and a group of friends to do it with!
