Days are spent stirring the heart, restoring the weary spirit and inspiring and strengthening the mind. Lovin Manor, a luxury appointed Assisted Living Facility in North Scottsdale, opened for residents on December 1, 2004. After three short months, we were full. For the next year, we cared for many with compassion, love, dignity and respect.
After two years, we were getting upset that we had to turn so many away because we were full. So we opened a second facility and named it Lovin Manor Too. And within three months, it too became full.
Rather than open a third, we've come to learn that families need adult day care. So at both facilities, we offer day care. Here you can drop off your loved one for a hour, two, or ten and we will care for them as if they were a full-time resident.
Lovin Manor is the perfect alternative for seniors who no longer wish to live in their private homes, but are too healthy to need the services provided in a nursing home or skilled nursing facility.
At Lovin Manor, we understand that it is not just the surroundings that make this your home. Most importantly,it is the people who surround you. The residence staff is compassionate, caring and friendly.They have the skills and experience to care for you in the most respectful manner, maintaining your dignity and pride. The people you see every day, our caregivers, are here to maximize your independence and quality oflife. Our facility and care is based on a social model, not the medical model of a nursing home, with healthcare professionals as care-givers, nurturing every resident.
Resident services include personal, supervisory and directed care. We work with each resident and their family to create a service plan that supports the resi-dent’s individual abilities and desires, and accommodates their changing needs. All meals, laundry and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are standard for our residents. We provide medication management, assistance with ADLs like bathing, eating, and toileting. Our meals are prepared by a chef schooled at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute.
Our primary goal at Lovin Manor is to tailor specific activities for each individual resi-dent. Residents help create their activities.Gardening, exercise, shopping trips, guest performers, scrapbooking and bible studies are just a few options. Our residents can even try their hand at cooking, if they would like.
Though Safety comes first, Dignity, Respectand Individuality are imperative to maintainand preserve, as is Independence.
