With a variety of unique activities and entertainment available, our residents benefit from the intimacy and warmth of the home with the advantages and choices provided by some larger facilities. Our staff designs events to encourage social, physical and mental stimulation. Such activities include storytelling, music therapy, art instruction, various daily exercises including group walks, Wii sporting games and crafts, just to name a few.
Activities will change pending the likes and dislikes of our residents. Our library and activities room includes a computer with full internet access for surfing the Web, e-mails or just playing games, in addition to two convertible game tables for reading, card games or bumper pool. From time to time, we also invite outside entertainers to perform for our residents. We ensure that birthdays and holidays are observed with parties for all – and sometimes “Just Because”!
Each resident has a spacious private bedroom with en-suite bath facilities. Residents are encouraged to personalize their room with cherished mementos, art and family photographs. The community’s inviting common areas offer ample places to socialize, including the well stocked game room, on-site beauty salon and comfortable living room with state-of-the-art audio video equipment, elegant dining area and custom kitchen. Plus, delicious home cooked meals and nutritious snacks are provided to each resident to promote and maintain healthy living.
