The Alzheimer's Association’s position, and Paradise Valley Care’s practice, is to first use non-drug approaches to managing dementia-related behaviors. These can include:

Our residents can receive medical care and services while living here. They will be able to see visiting physicians, podiatrist, physical therapist, and more all in the comfort of their room. We take care of all the arrangements and scheduling.
We also provide complete, centrally-stored and secured medication management for all of our residents. You will no longer need to wonder whether your loved one is taking their medication as prescribed, as we provide medication reminders and assistance throughout the day.
Memory loss often leads to a decline in hygiene. At Paradise Valley Care, our basic services include making sure residents are regularly bathed and groomed. In addition, a hair dresser comes to our facility on a regular basis.
Our basic services also include regular laundry service and daily housekeeping. While your loved one is always welcome to do their own personal or household care if they want, we are more than happy to do it for them. As we tell our residents, “That’s what we’re here for!”
All of our friendly staff are trained by industry experts and are experienced in caring for residents through all stages of dementia.
