Welcome Home Senior Residence - Concord is a charming assisted living community in Concord, California. It is within astounding Contra Costa County which is part of the Golden State.
At Welcome Home Senior Residences, we are committed to helping our residents in every way. In our golden years, it is ultimately rewarding to have led a remarkable life. Yet personal difficulties and health issues often arise as we age, sometimes increasing dramatically with little forewarning. This may be a modest concern for now, but can become a larger problem later. While most families cannot pinpoint the specific necessities of an aging individual, Welcome Home Senior Residence professionals are here to help with identifying their needs.
At Welcome Home, we are very proud of our modern Residential Care Facilities. Each facility has been meticulously updated to our highly exacting standards while conforming to all Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) rules and regulations. In addition, each facility is equipped with free wireless internet access to help keep all family members connected and for those who may have to work while visiting their loved ones in one of our facilities and many more services.
Welcome Home Senior Residences were created to provide a warm and comfortable living situation, where every senior resident feels like they are living in their own home, while receiving 24-hour attention and care. We understand the dilemma families have to face in caring for elderly family members in our modern society. We want to decrease the stress of the family members and help maintain a good relationship between our residents and their family. We strive to ensure that our residents feel comfortable and secure by attending to all individual needs and requests.
Meals are a special time at every one of our facilities. All of our meals are made from scratch and family members are welcome to share a meal with their loved ones while visiting them in our homes in our well-appointed dining rooms. We offer each of our residents a free one-time use of our wheelchair accessible van every month. This feature is something that most other RCFE facilities do not offer, and many of our residents take advantage of this free service by going to their regular doctor’s visits or on outings with their family members. Additional use of this wheelchair accessible van service is available at a nominal charge.
We help you get through all the limitless challenges associated in caring for your elders. With us, you can be sure that your loved ones are in safe and capable hands. Our compassionate care home support and services are tailored to encompass a variety of a senior’s demands and necessities, securing the safety of your elder’s well-being, independence, and dignity. Through our serene and tranquil home environments, we make their stay with us a memorable and peaceful experience, and our skilled senior care providers give you peace of mind as you let your elders reside under our wing.
At Welcome Home Senior Residences, we advocate for an integrated approach to our resident’s health care, getting to know each person individually – mentally, physically and emotionally. It’s one of the many ways we take senior care to the next level when evaluating their needs, as we do continuously during their residency.
The concept of integrated health care at Welcome Home Senior Residences is so much more than making sure the medications our residents take are correct and necessary. Additionally, we have remodeled our residences to accommodate the needs of wheelchair access and other special needs as required. We consult with their families and physicians to provide a personalized program of care that defies other places who take a more “cookie cutter” approach to the care of their residents.
"Integrated" means offering alternative ways to boost memory and health, through exercise, proper eating and hydration, and finding ways each day to keep our residents fully engaged in life.
We believe proper care by compassionate professionals, good nutrition, adequate hydration, physical movement, spiritual sustenance and social engagement can make a world of difference in an elderly person’s health and quality of life.
