Located in Palm Desert, just blocks from El Paseo Drive, Britannia Lodge is a licensed Board & Care home providing 24-hour care and support for senior citizens who are unable to live anole, whether temporarily or permanently.
The Hounsel family opened their first Board & Care facility in 1987 and have almost 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, coupled with their own personal blend of humor and enthusiasm. This provides a winning combination when it becomes necessary for someone in their 80s or 90s to move into a health care facility and leave their own home, which would be a frightening situation for most people. Because of our experience, we are able to help new residents settle in as quickly as possible alleviating the stress and isolation that this can cause.
Britannia Lodge is a family owned and operated home which combines a warm friendly atmosphere with experience and professional attention to the needs of the residents.
With just six private rooms, the staff to resident ratio is at a high 2 to 1, allowing each person to receive the individual time and care that they need and require each day.

Britannia Lidge gives help to arrange for visits from medical professionals, ie hospice doctors, nurses, ponarist, dental visits, when needed. We also help to arrange transport to your personal appointments.
