Tara Hills Care Home has been in operation since 2006. We are family owned and operated. Being a small home we pride ourselves in being able to know our Residents really well and to be able to provide personalized care in a home –like environment.

Continuing Education and staff trainings are important components of Caregiving. We acknowledge that there is always something new to learn. We are committed to learning the different aspects and best practices of Caregiving to allow us to become better Caregivers.
Services We Offer
- We provide a 24-hour, 7 days a week home care. Whether it’s assistance with medication or simple activities of daily living, someone is always there, our experienced and compassionate staff is ready to help and offer immediate care and support.
- Care Homes That Care will provide three well-balanced nutritious meals on a daily basis and provide easy alternate meals. Snacks are also being served in between meals.
- We provide residents assistance with their activities of daily living such as bathing, continence, dressing, eating, and transferring. Depending on the resident’s level of ability, assistance can vary from a stand by assist to a full assist.
- We provide daily housekeeping. Laundry is done on site.
- We manage and assist residents with their medications. We will ensure that prescriptions are filled in a timely manner.
- Transportation can be arranged for Doctor appointments or special outings. *Fees may apply.
- Residents are most successful at doing activities that balance their interests and their physical and functional abilities. Upon resident assessment and based on the resident’s care plan, we can provide individual or group activities.
- Our homes are not a medical facility. We supervise and observe for any changes in our resident’s physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being and report these changes to their Doctor/Responsible Party.
- We manage the complete health care of our residents. From general physician to dental to eye exams, we ensure that our residents’ care needs are being addressed.
- We coordinate access to medical care and or special services as needed.
- A care plan meeting will take place with the resident and interested members to discuss and put into plan what we can do for the resident to enhance their quality of life. We will discuss areas of physical health, social, mental, emotional and functioning abilities.
