We fully understand how critically important it is to find the right care home for your loved ones. It is not only to find one that meets their needs and one that provides safety, but it is the quality of care that ensures personal and dignified assistance during the time that they need it most.
This is where Canyon Guest Home & Clairemont Guest Home, licensed Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly, specializes in and is known for since 1997.
We are situated in the area of Clairemont, San Diego, close distance from Shopping Centers, Hospitals, Mission Bay, La Jolla, and Pacific Beach.
Each of our homes concentrate on caring for 6 non-ambulatory or ambulatory residents. All of our rooms are private, some with private baths.
Our compassionate and dedicated staff are the back bone of Canyon Guest Home and Clairemont Guest Home. They go through a program of training, with a minimum of 20-hours a year. Annually, our staff are trained and retrained on dementia care, medication management, and many more.
Through careful process of selection and recruitment, many of our caregivers are long-term employees. We look into health screening and criminal background check to ensure families that we have a team you can trust. Your family is encouraged to tell management how our staff can help you more to meet your needs.
Daily chores are part of an individual's routine. But when old age sets in, their condition makes this a struggle. Our residents receive assistance for their activities of daily living. We have supportive and dedicated caregivers who are always prepared to lend a helping hand to your loved ones whenever necessary.

We see the importance of getting to know our residents as individuals so that we can enhance their lives through their daily activities. Getting to know them starts even before admission and beyond. We want to get the resident’s and their families’ input to accommodate the activities that they personally enjoy as unique individuals. Do they like music and entertainment? Do they enjoy daily walks? What kind of job did they have when they were younger? Were they outgoing? What brings them joy? What is their favorite sport team? What is their favorite movie?
Activities our residents have enjoyed:
- Music
- Old Classic Movies
- Stationary Exercises
- Walking Distance
- Arts and Crafts
- Board Games
- Gardening
Our mission is to care for your love ones as you would at your own home. We want to provide them a safe and loving environment. We know how difficult it is for the residents and their families to deal with the challenges that come with aging and with certain diseases. We want to assist in giving the best care by working closely with families, physicians, and pharmacies. We take pride in the care that we have provided since 1997 to every single one of our dear residents and will continue to do so.
