WELCOME to The Monterey Trellis. Located in Spring Valley, San Diego County, California, our community is a hidden jewel that offers enhanced and personal senior care along with the supervision to safely monitor each of our guests while providing for the daily needs of our long term as well as our short term residents. We are licensed to accommodate 49 residents and we take great pride in giving individual care to each and every resident. We are truly committed to serving our residents as well as giving our families peace of mind.
We have wonderful Independent along with Assisted Living Care plans for those who are able to take care of most or all of their own personal needs, plus an Extensive Assisted Care plan for extensive needs. We have physicians and nurses that we can bring into the facility if the needs are more serious. We also provide transportation for doctor visits, shopping and outings, arranged and provided by the facility, usually at no cost.
The vision we all share was to be able to take care of elderly folks in an atmosphere of love and respect, in a beautiful appointed campus with good old fashion home cooked meals. Let you or your loved one be taken care of by really kind and caring folks, who are skilled in the finer things in life, “comfort.” In fact the staff and employees that have been selected are outstanding examples of great care givers.
OUR STAFF is well trained and at your assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We make our residents feel at home while they enjoy a simplified lifestyle free from chores and the responsibilities of maintaining a home. We do the laundry, housekeeping and let you have gracious and wonderful meals. Our medication management team specializes in taking the worries out of when to take your next pill or when to reorder those prescriptions again.
OUR MEALS, snacks and special birthday and holiday events are all taken care of. We serve fresh and flavorful meals with variety and nutrition and always with your health in mind. Theme dinners are chef prepared by Cali Comfort BBQ restaurant located in front of The Monterey Trellis, and offered throughout the year to celebrate special events such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and so much more.

LEVELS OF CARE ARE PROVIDED FOR MORE EXTENSIVE NEEDS:
- Level 2 or Premium Care: 40 hours per month of personal services
- Level 3 or Special Care Services: up to 60 hours per month of personal care.
