A team of executives, managers, and caregivers that believe resident care is the most important aspect of an assisted living community.
A community that is large enough for socialization and small enough for personalized care and service.
Our staff is available 24/7 to assist our resdients. We do routine checks at night to make sure our residents are okay or see if they are need of assistance. Our memory care units also have specialized monitoring features as well as staff that is trained in memory care.
We are able to accommodate residents that require home health, therapy, and hospice services. We are not a medical facility and do not provide medical services. However, these agencies are able to come into our facilities and provide our residents with the medical services they need and also provide us with instruction to continue and follow up with our residents’ care.
We are able to assist a resident with administering injections. However, we are not allowed to administer injections to a resident, they must be able to administer the injection themselves with assistance.
Because we are able to accommodate residents that have various conditions and services required it is very rare that a residents medical condition forces them to move to a different location. Our residents can feel confident and comfortable that they won’t have to move unless they want to.
We assist our residents in scheduling their doctor appointments. We also provide transportation to and from appointments. Even though our communities are owned by a doctor, we do not provide medical services to our residents. We feel it is important that our residents and us receive outside opinions regarding their care.
We work with any doctor our residents wishes and provide transportation at no cost to any local doctor. Our residents can pick their own doctors and don’t have to change because they are moving into our community. We believe it is important that our residents have the freedom to choose their providers.
We provide medication management for all of our residents. Medications in our facility are kept safe and secure and administered according to prescription instructions. It is very important to take medications as they are prescribed. Not just seniors, most people do not take medications according to the prescription. In the senior population this can have a more noticeable impact on a persons health.
We encourage our residents to do as much as they can for themselves. When it is necessary we are able to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL). This can include things like getting dressed, brushing teeth, getting to the bathroom, showers, etc…
We believe that active and healthy residents are good for our community. We do not take away the right of any of our residents to do these activities by themselves and often just offer stand-by assistance. We feel that it is important for our residents to have a sense of self and do as much as they can for themselves.
We provide a specially tailored activity program to our residents. This includes everything from exercising, socializing, playing cards and games, as well as arts and crafts activities. Often times, we add activities as new residents move in so they can continue doing the things they enjoy and also introduce their new friends to these things.
