Ingleside Lodge is a California licensed, non-profit, assisted-living facility. Being a non-profit, we do not exist to generate wealth, but rather to respectfully provide for the needs of our senior citizens. We are located in Yucca Valley, California, on a private five-acre lot replete with multiple rose gardens and other lush surroundings. The Lodge is a single story structure offering spacious single and double occupancy rooms. Its fifteen-bed capacity affords our residents a level of individualized care that is comparable only to what they would find in a family setting.
Our facility has been voted #1 for care and service of the elderly in the Morongo Basin and we welcome you to come visit and see how we have been setting the standard of care since 1999.
Ingleside Lodge offers both single and double occupancy rooms that are uniquely furnished and/or suited to the personalized preferences of our residents. In either case, our residents are provided with ample bedroom space, extra large bathrooms, and private patios. Every room has multiple phone lines, refrigerated air, and cable availability. Most importantly, the staff may be quickly summoned with the push of a button or voice activated device.
Every room has a sliding door that opens to a full-length patio. This allows our residents to relax outside in the cover of shade with the foliage of mature trees, flowering shrubs, and more than two hundred-fifty rose bushes which surround the lodge; thus, a tranquil view from every room is assured. In addition, our lushly gated grounds are home to cottontail rabbits, quail, roadrunners, and a host of many other friendly creatures that take advantage of our desert oasis. (Note: Unfriendly creatures are eliminated by our pest control program.)
Three nutritious meals are served daily with available between-meal nourishments/snacks. Please note that all of our meals are "home" cooked in our commercial kitchen, and include many family recipes; we do not serve cafeteria-style food. Special diets are accommodated when prescribed by a doctor. Our meals are served in a dining room with personalized seating for everyone.
The mission and purpose of Ingleside Lodge is to offer a family-like atmosphere where seniors are provided the most dignified and compassionate care possible in a safe and secure environment. At Ingleside, our residents are loved and become part of our "family".
Personal Care
- hygiene items of general use such as soap and toiletries
- private, secured room used to maintain resident's cash resources
- washing, drying, and necessary ironing of personal clothing
- cleaning of resident's room
- assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, managing continence, transferring from bed or chair, and other personal needs
- fresh bed and bath linens weekly, or as needed
Medical Care
- plan or arrange for transportation to medical and dental appointments
- personal care and supervision, and observation for changes in physical, mental, emotional, and social functioning
- notification to resident's family, physician, and other appropriate person/agency of resident's needs
- bedside care and tray service for minor temporary illnesses or recovery from surgery
- medication management
- assistance with taking prescribed and over-the-counter medications in accordance with physician's instructions unless prohibited by law or regulation
- low-impact exercise program
