Our Wellspring Memory Care community is a caring, secured, purposely built assisted living community for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Through a life-affirming, therapeutic environment, we emphasize strengths and support wellness. We extend our sense of community to all those who are touched by the disease, providing opportunities to support body, mind and spirit.

Our memory care residence features uniquely gracious small homes, each with its own living room, dining room, kitchen and private bedrooms, with private bath. Meals are enjoyed together in the homelike dining area within each. After a meal, a stroll around the town square, gardens or just sitting on the front porch further the small home atmosphere of Juniper Village at Aurora. And recent research has shown that the small house model of memory care fosters well-being and even happiness.

Ample outdoor walking paths and gracious patios and gardens are an inviting and welcoming place to explore and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. For added peace of mind, the entire community and grounds are fully-secured with an integrated resident-to-staff call system and exterior door security system.

Our dedicated staff, each specially-trained in dementia care, provides each resident individualized assistance with activities of daily living in our secure, comfortable home-like environment; including a secured, outdoor courtyard and garden. Wellspring is a calming place designed with resident safety in mind.

Recognizing that each individual has unique needs and preferences is our specialty. We regularly monitor health care needs and include residents, their loved ones if they chose and our front line caregivers in conferences to discuss our plans for meeting needs and hopefully, fulfilling desires. We have implemented a program of consistent assignments for our caregivers to provide consistency and continuity of care. We also are proud to use the nationally acclaimed Best Friends program which pairs a resident and an Associate and affords them the chance to build a relationship over time.
