Community size: Small (1-10)
Rose of Sharon Assisted Living - Valentia is an attractive assisted living community in Centennial, Colorado. It is within exceptional Arapahoe County which is part of the Centennial State.
Rose of Sharon Assisted Living was established by Linna and Hanny Tanny in 2003 to offer an alternative approach and great care for those who could not care for themselves. We offer licensed assisted living care with a personal and individualized approach. We recognize that no two individuals are the same. Your values and ethics become our values and ethics. We embrace your family philosophy in the manner in which we administer care.
At Rose of Sharon Assisted Living we recognize that each individual is unique. With that in mind, we provide care within the guidelines of “The Platinum Rule”. This rule instructs us to “treat others the way they want to be treated”. If you are seeking great care, qualified, trained and consistent staff, as well as companionship for a loved one, call for more information about our facilities. One of our homes may be the facility you are looking for. We take pride in our unique approach to caring for Senior’s.
The Leadership at Rose of Sharon Assisted Living is experienced and professional. We focus on the individual needs of each resident and work as a team to provide a safe, caring, joyful life for all of our residents. We empower our staff to be successful at the care they provide while keeping them happy.
With a loving approach, our caregivers provide assisted living services to individuals that can no longer live safe, alone, or independent. Compassion and kindness are essential in caring for those who cannot care for themselves. We also incorporate patience and understanding when we administer care. We hire caregivers that love to work with Senior’s, are trained in Dementia care, have worked with Senior’s for more than 1 year, are qualified to administer medications, do not have a history of past criminal or elder abuse, know creative ways to get Senior’s to participate in activities and have organizational skills. Our caregivers are Live-In and are therefore able to meet our goal for staff consistency. We also have consistent weekend staff that support Rose of Sharon’s philosophy of care.
The key to Senior’s accepting the transition from independence to assisted living is “Comfort and Flexibility”. Make the environment comfortable and the schedules flexible. In keeping with the Rose of Sharon Assisted Living Homes philosophy of care, we encourage residents to be independent by providing a nurturing environment in which friends and family are always welcome. Let us know what is important to you and your loved one so that we can maintain those accommodations. Our goal is to enhance the life of our residents and to ensure that they are comfortable during the transition to assisted living and their entire stay at Rose of Sharon. If there is a favorite food or game they enjoy, let us know to provide it. We pamper our residents by offering them a comfortable, flexible lifestyle. After all, life as a Senior should be filled with the desires of their hearts.
