When we say we are a memory care community at Highline Place, we mean “community” in the truest sense of the word. We are well known for our warmth, care and respect for the people inside and outside our doors. Highline Place is at the center of a vibrant local community, one that has taken a personal interest in the lives and the stories of our residents. Built with an outpouring of enthusiastic community involvement, Highline Place has quickly gained a reputation for filling its walls with vibrancy and fresh hope for individuals with cognitive impairment, as well as bringing a smile to the faces of the local community. After all, many of Highline Places’ residents and family members can recall playing in the park next door when they were children!

Holding a special place in the hearts of the local community is behind much of the success of the many person-centered programs at Highline Place. And, unlike other memory care communities, these programs encourage participation inside and outside our walls.

Through partnerships with our local schools and our libraries, Highline Place helps reconnect residents to places and activities familiar to them throughout their active lives. This, along with regular visits to community centers and other local businesses helps restore and reinvigorate the senses. The reward is a stronger connection between our residents, their families and our staff.
