In 2000, June Trach took over operations and helped transform the Rustic Retreat into the clean, caring, and warm assisted living facility that we have today.
Since 1993, Rustic Retreat has been serving the community to provide the highest level of service and care for each and every person we can. We are here to make life happy, enjoyable, and worth living. We are not a large company. This is not just a business. this is our mission; to truly serve. Being able to chat with other residents becomes an important part of many peoples' lives, and Rustic Retreat offers common spaces indoors to support that need. The benefit of living in an assisted living community is that making meals can be costly and time consuming process, so Rustic Retreat provides in-house cooked meals for residents.
Staff is awake and available 24 hours a day so if any emergencies occur, no matter the time, there will be someone ready to help. Making sure that residents with diabetes monitor their insulin levels is clearly an important task, and Rustic Retreat can help with that task. If a resident needs assistance moving from a bed to a wheelchair, we have the staff who can help.
Our mission is to provide the level of care and love, that we would provide to our own family members, to every individual we encounter.
Our Vision is to reshape the adult care and assisted living industry. This is an industry about people, about love, and about nurturing. This is not a place for corporations or big business. We do this because we care; we want everyone who comes through our doors to feel as though they are finally home. For now, this is what separates us, but it shouldn't.
