Cedar Creek Assisted Living Residence is an angelic assisted living community in Crystal River, Florida. It is within sublime Citrus County which is part of the Sunshine State.

Located in the heart of Crystal River adjacent to a lovely city park, we are minutes away from many local attractions and activities. Across the street is King’s Bay on the beautiful Crystal River, renowned for the nation’s largest concentration of manatees, the rare and wonderful sea mammal.

Our beautiful, resort-like residence offers many amenities, but at the same time provides a lovely home in each apartment. The ambiance is reminiscent of an upscale retreat or spa with gourmet meals, a full exercise and wellness program, plush furniture, thriving plants and flowers, and bubbling fish tank.

We encourage our residents to bring their own furniture and decorations to create their own personal environment. At Cedar Creek, we understand that independence, choices and comfortable surroundings are stepping stones to an active and healthy lifestyle. Family members and friends are invited to visit any time.

Although our base rate is typically sufficient enough to cover services, a resident may require a higher level of personal care that goes beyond our base fee. Each resident will receive an assessment regarding their individual needs, and a specific care plan will be implemented on an individual basis.

Each resident is pampered with warmth, comfort, love, and when wanted, a hug. Our 24-hour-a-day staff provides meals, activities, appointment reminders, along with scheduled transportation for doctor visits, shopping and social events. Our resident care staff will provide medication assistance and supervision. Planned activities are plentiful, fun and entertaining.

Our staff is on duty 24 hours a day, and each apartment is equipped with an emergency pull cord system in the bathroom. This system is connected to a monitored central location. The residents are also connected to our staff by way of care pendant. When an emergency call is transmitted, the staff will be alerted to their location automatically. Fire alarms are strategically placed and have an identical emergency call system for a quicker response time. Emergency medical personnel, police and fire departments are located right across the street.

• Our in-house beauty parlor/barber is an easy way for our residents to keep themselves looking great.  Our full service salon is available weekly for all of the grooming needs of our residents.
• Our computer center is available 24 hours per day and offers state-of-the-art computers featuring the latest software, including online access.  Our residents can use e-mail to keep in touch with family and friends, read the news, play games, or simply surf the internet.
• We have a large activity room where our residents gather to enjoy board games, card games, crafts and other planned group activities.
• Our restaurant-style dining room offers comfortable seating, and is a great place to enjoy a meal from our diverse menu.  Our dietary and cooking staff prepares each meal from scratch, using only the freshest ingredients.  Over the years, our culinary team has won numerous local awards, not only for the taste, but also the quality of foods presented.
• Individual, as well as group workouts and activities, are available to all of our residents to help them stay in shape and lead an active lifestyle.  Our on-staff Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist is always happy to assist with athletic equipment, and during exercise therapy.
• Cedar Creek offers Pet Assistance Services for a nominal monthly fee.  We’ll provide assistance with the care of a resident’s cat, small dog, bird, fish or other household animal.
