At Homestead Village of Pensacola, our Memory Care services provide residents with attention that is tailored to their cognitive abilities. We want to offer a soothing experience that can yield meaningful interaction between visiting family members, our staff, and other residents.

Our community offers a living experience that is tailored to each individual’s cognitive abilities. One of our goals is to place individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia in cottages where they feel at home and comfortable with other residents. For that reason, we have separate cottages and neighborhoods for early-stage dementia, middle-stage dementia, and late-stage dementia. Our purpose-designed dementia cottages are staffed and equipped to provide and encourage individuals to remain as independent as possible to provide choices, preserve dignity, and respect their decision making. Each cottage has a small resident population consisting of 15-20 private rooms with private baths. Our flexible approach to daily activities contributes to a low-stress soothing atmosphere.

Our short-term senior care services, referred to as respite care, is set to help family caregivers who need a break from their caregiving responsibilities. These services can provide family caregivers with peace of mind in knowing that their loved one is taken care of while they tend to other duties. Family caregivers and seniors can use these services as a non-commitment way to experience our community in its full form.
