Bamboo Villas is an assisted living facility owned and operated by the Sumulong family. It is a 12-bed facility located on the corner of Habana Ave. and W. Wilder Ave. in beautiful Tampa, Florida. We offer a friendly, family-oriented environment where every resident enjoys a wide range of services, amenities and activities. We are just minutes from churches, shopping, restaurants, and many of the areas finest medical service providers and hospitals. In fact we are just a half-mile from St. Joseph’s Hospital!
From the moment you enter our facility, one will be impressed by the thought and effort that went into the design and development of Bamboo Villas. You'll discover rich, traditional furnishings in tasteful colors, flourishing greenery, staff members who stop to chat, and a beckoning tray of pastries, nestled alongside freshly brewed coffee.
We make it mandatory for all our staff members to exceed the states minimum requirements for training. They pursue every training opportunity available and we make sure they get recognized for it. Also, our staff includes a medical doctor (internal medicine) and a registered nurse to complete our dream team.
Our residents are cared for by a professional and loving staff. All staff members enjoy and love what they do, and it is expressed through the personal attention and care given to each resident. Our family has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry and we realize that each individual is unique and has their own likes and dislikes. We cater to each individual and accommodate for each of their own individuality.Residents truly get personalized individual attention due to the fact that our staff to resident ratio is so small. That means more quality time for each resident!
We go above and beyond to make sure our residents are safe. We have a security fence surrounding the property, extensive interior and exterior lighting, emergency call system, facility wide fire detection, grab bars, hand rails, non-skid flooring, non-smoking policy, 24 hour staffing...just to mention a few things.

Since we are a small facility, our residents and staff members know each other personally. Our staff is able to sit with the residents and share stories and really get to know them.
