Providence Senior Living located in beautiful Alpharetta, Georgia, combines the care seniors need, the convenience they value, and the independence they cherish.

Providence Senior Living is a nurse owned and managed Personal Care Home licensed by the State of Georgia formally known as Assisted Living Homes.

At Providence Senior Living we focus on three objectives:

• To support and enhance the independence of each resident.
• To comfort families and caregivers by strengthening their support system and providing continuity of care for their loved one.
• To delay or prevent institutionalization by offering alternative quality care.

Providence offers a safe, supervised, and caring environment for seniors with or without memory loss. Since our communities are not “locked units” we are unable to accommodate residents who are prone to eloping or wandering. However our communities combine all the comforts of home with design features specifically intended to enhance the quality of life for seniors with disabilities.

Personal care services, including assist with medications, bathing, dressing, mobility, and other day-to-day needs, are available from our compassionate nurses and caregivers. Home health nursing, physical and respiratory therapy, and hospice services are also available when needed through our excellent service partners.

At Providence we strive to support the families of our residents by providing Family Care Conferences and direct access to the Administrators. By working with the family as members of a well-coordinated team, we ensure our residents receive all the care and services they require as they age.

Finally we strive to promote Aging in Place, by working with Home Health, Hospice, and other services wherever applicable, to make sure a resident’s needs continue to be met as he or she progresses through the aging process.

Providence provides all levels of senior care including:

• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting

• Meal preparation, serving, and feeding or nutritional supervision
• Special diets may be accommodated
• Aggressive hydration (encouraging residents to drink fluids throughout the day)

• Laundry, linen and housekeeping service
• Cable TV and telephone service included in your rate
• Some furnishings available for use, included in your rate
• Coordination with physicians, home health nursing, physical therapy, and hospice services

Our professionally-developed and led activities program keeps our seniors busy and engaged with structured activities several days of the week. Activities are an integral part of the Providence lifestyle. We maintain a comfortable and relaxed home environment. We offer daily exercise and stretching time, gardening and music activities, table games, and planned outings to dine out, go shopping, or visit exhibits. Our residents are encouraged to help with meal preparation or table setting. Sometimes we simply chat and fold laundry together. We promote purposefulness in our residents’ lives. We incorporate physical exercise, spirituality, creativity, and intellectual stimuli into our exciting program. Family involvement is encouraged! We offer scheduled outings periodically, as well.

We understand that seniors place a high value on maintaining their independence no matter what state of health they are in. That is why we integrate practices and approaches which encourage Providence residents to stay active, mobile, and engaged.
