Medlock Gardens is an active assisted living community in Decatur, Georgia. It is within delightful DeKalb County which is part of the Peach State.

A suburb of Atlanta, Decatur is “A city of homes, churches, and schools” as the motto says and well known for it’s downtown historic district. Here we find Medlock Gardens Senior Living, often referred to as the “Castle on the Hillside”.

Come and enjoy the sunroom, the outside patios and porches. Small pets are welcome, and family and friends are encouraged to visit anytime. With its quaint and cozy setting, Medlock Gardens features a three level floor plan with apartments on the first two levels, and a full basement downstairs ideal for resident activities. The back of the property includes a nice wooded area and rose garden to enjoy nature.

Our home-like setting provides a great atmosphere for promoting independence and individuality. We welcome short term respite as well as long-term stays. Home Health, and Rehabilitation services are welcome on an outpatient basis. We provide dental visits and podiatric services right here on campus, as well as transportation to local medical appointments.

Medlock Gardens has a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse on staff as well as a visiting medical professionals. We have a beautician and cosmetologist, and many wonderful volunteers with years of service who come and entertain through music, crafts, etc. We offer four levels of care to serve you. Three nutritious meals are served everyday in our dining room restaurant-style. Our menu that is prepared by a registered dietician. We also offer sugar-free desserts, snacks between meals, fresh fruit, and sandwiches daily. We encourage family and friends to celebrate with us during special events.
