The inspiration for Exceptional Living Personal Care Home, LLC emerged from our experience in caring for the elderly and individuals with developmental disabilities. We came in contact with a family who looked to us to help find the best residential care setting for one of their loved ones. There wasn’t much thought of what to do if he were to lose his ability to live and function independently. After a few months had passed of deciding what would be the best decision for him, it became very clear to his family that his needs had changed significantly and that he would need personalized care in a home environment. He needed help with most aspects of daily living. As providers for people with intellectual disabilities, we began caring for him within our home. We were confident that we could provide him with the quality, exceptional care that he deserved. From this journey, the vision for Exceptional Living Personal Care Home emerged. The idea of transforming our actual home where we lived for many years into a small homelike residence that could offer true resident-centered care was truly a blessing!
