In both locations we offer independent living Villas and Personal Care, and in Waycross, the J. Olan Jones Health Care Center offers skilled nursing care. Baptist Village is an institution of the Georgia Baptist Convention and a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Trustees. Baptist Village provides a multi-faceted ministry to people of all faiths and backgrounds. For more than six decades, Baptist Village has been faithfully serving the diverse housing and healthcare needs of older adults. It is from that long-time and rich Christian heritage that our strong commitment to provide the highest quality of care and service arises.
Baptist Village was established out of a conviction by Georgia Baptists that God intended His people to be concerned about ministry to His “older children”. Having been led to establish such a ministry as this, we endeavor daily to demonstrate the love of God through the care of, and association with, our residents. It is the mission of Baptist Village to provide a continuum of care in a manner that honors God and provides our residents and staff the opportunity to develop spiritually, physically and socially.

Plantation Suites is a 50 bed personal care community located in northwest Macon, Georgia. The location is close to residential areas, shopping, churches, and a movie theater. The Suites allow individuals to enjoy all the comforts of home without the challenges of daily responsibilities. Residents have the opportunity to continue living an independent lifestyle with a caring staff to assist when needed. Amenities include:
- Twenty-four hour staff assistants
- Three meals daily with snacks
- Spacious suites
- Scheduled activities
- Personal laundry service
- Medication supervision
- Assistance in bathing and grooming
- Housekeeping
- On-site beauty/barber shop
- Transportation to medical appointments and scheduled outings

Personal Care facilities are designed for the moment in time an individual needs assistance in performing the activities of daily living but does not require nursing care. Planned events, activities and exercise are encouraged. The focus of personal care is to help the resident maintain physical, mental and emotional independence for as long as possible. Plantation Suites offers personal comfort and independence with the benefit of a compassionate, trained staff who provide assistance based on each individual resident’s need.
