Rosedale Care Home

Rosedale Care Home is an inviting assisted living community in Marietta, Georgia. It is within popular Cobb County which is part of the Peach State.

Rosedale provides a safe, compassionate and empowering environment in which people over 65 can live with dignity and support whilst maintaining as much control as possible over their chosen lifestyle, regardless of their ethnicity, status, ability, gender, sexuality and religious beliefs.

We provide person centered care that puts the individual at the heart of everything we do, celebrating their differences and upholding their rights.

Practical and personal care is provided by highly motivated, trained and caring staff.

The individual's care plans are written with the residents and families in order to ensure that they are provided with the correct level of care and support to maximise their own abilities and independence. Staff are encouraged to do things with the residents rather than for the residents wherever possible.

Privacy and confidentiality is respected at all times.

There is a residents and families forum held every quarter where issues and concerns are addressed, however we encourage constant feedback and Rosedale has a transparent and open policy on complaints, issues and concerns.

There are 10 single and 4 double rooms each with wash hand basins. All rooms have emergency call points, colour televisions and telephone points available or alternatively they may use the main line for local calls.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture to enable the room to be their own. Residents are actively encouraged and supported to pursue their own interests, hobbies and lifestyles.

There is a large lounge overlooking the patio area and garden, where garden furniture is available and there are 2 other quiet lounges plus a stair lift to the upper floor.

Hairdressers, chiropodists, optician and dentists visit on a regular basis and GPs and other medical professionals visit weekly and District Nurses are available when needed.

We also have regular entertainment a wide selection of activities and outings. At Rosedale we also participate in charity fundraising to support good causes and to help residents feel more involved in their community.

There is an extensive menu which offers choice and meets the dietary requirements of any individual within our care. Meals are served in the dining room or may be taken into the resident's own room should they prefer. Visitors are welcome to join the residents for a meal if they wish.

Personal laundry is done on the premises and newspapers of your choice are available daily.

Everything possible will be done support you to live the life you choose, whether you are looking for privacy, companionship or both.
