Known for our Seasons Memory Care program, we cherish the role we play in our residents’ care so that they continue to have those special life moments with family and friends. We are also active in the community and partner with our local Alzheimer’s Association.
The Seasons Memory Care environment at Cypress Pond has been purposefully and specially designed to aid those with cognitive challenges caused by memory impairment, dementia and Alzheimer’s. Our safe, 11-bed community features secure entry and exit doors and a 24-hour monitored emergency response system. Large windows and a welcoming porch at Cypress Pond ensure residents get plenty of natural sunlight which helps reduce anxiety among residents as they transition gradually from day to evening. Each resident’s suite is designed with a memory box outside the suite as a helpful visual cue. In addition, a creative Plunder Room provides active tactile stimulation for our Cypress Pond residents’ long-term memory.
Many seniors prefer to maintain their independence in their home with support from a trusted companion. With that desire in mind, we offer non-medical caregivers and companions for senior care at home, residents in long-term care settings and those in a hospital recovering from an illness. Our team of caregivers is thoroughly screened and trained to meet those needs whether for occasional visits or to provide lifestyle care throughout the day or night.
One simple call to our In Home Administrator is all you need to get started. We begin this process with a comfortable but professional visit to the residence where we can learn about your needs and preferences. Then we can select the perfect caregiver and our Registered Nurse will create a matching care plan. Our At Home Administrator and Nurse will follow through with ongoing supervision to assure that we meet your loved one’s evolving needs—all in the comfort and privacy of your home.
